AEPI has written a letter to the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GOI regarding implementation of Central Act for Protection of Doctors & healthcare professionals. We understand that the government has taken a bold step in bringing out an ordinance by making amendments in the Epidemic Act recently. But at the same time, we request the government to consider converting the ordinance to an ‘Act’ and continue it in the post-epidemic era also.
